I’m gonna start the restoration. The first step is to remove all the parts from the gentleman.
Then I sort the parts which is usable or unusable. Also, I will make a list of the things to buy, the things can be used by making over, and the things can not be used unfortunately.
Basically, the way of my restoration is to use the original parts by repairing. (I make it a point to do everything by myself except painting and plating.)
“The list of unfortunately unusable things”
- Wire harness, Brake wire, Clutch wire
- Need to be replaced because of severe corrosion such as rust.
- Handle, Brake lever, Clutch lever
- Need to be replaced.
- Mufflers, Exhaust pipes, Front and rear fender
- Need to be replaced because of the style is far from the original image, or not the right size.
- Spoke
- Need to be repaired because of severe corrosion.
First, I will arrange for these parts to “Yunyu-Ya BMer” (in Japanese)!
