I want to talk about wheel hubs and spokes this time.
Front (single sided hub)
Rear (double sided hub*)
I will replace all the spokes because they are extremely rusted.
Cut the spokes with a wire cutter and remove them.
Finished cutting all the spokes!
I weigh the wheel hubs.
The single sided hub is about 3.5kgs.
The double sided hub is 5kgs.
The reason why the double sided hub is heavier is it is made of aluminum to improve a cooling effect.
*Originally, R51/2 has single sided hub in both front and rear but this body has double sided hub in rear.
